The Lindy Hop
The Lindy Hop was one of the most popular dances in the 1920s and the most popular partner dance. The Lindy Hop combined an eight-count rhythm with many steps borrowed from the Charleston even though the rhythm was more constant and less improvised than other dances during the Harlem Renaissance.
